Alvin
Octoman.
I'm Alvin Octoman, a Filipino American cinematographer and Steadicam operator based in . I work across commercials, music videos, and narrative films, with an emphasis on camera movement that feels purposeful.
Born and raised in Hollywood, I studied photography, design, and film at Pasadena City College. My interests extend beyond the camera to woodworking, metalworking, furniture, and architecture. I'm drawn to how things are built: the materials, the decisions, and the small details that make the whole work.
